Tabatha Crockett

Author, Entrepreneur, and Advocate

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Greenville, SC, with humble beginnings in a single-parent home. Despite the challenges, I showed great determination and perseverance, which led to my graduation from Southside High School, a significant milestone in my life.

In 1994, I experienced the joy of parenthood when I was blessed with my beloved son, Jamario, an experience that shaped my life in profound ways.

Passionate about creative expression and driven to make a positive impact on my son, I embarked on a career as a hairstylist and salon owner in 1997. Through my talent and dedication, I have helped countless clients look and feel their best, fostering a warm and welcoming space in my salon.

However, deep down, I held another idea close to my heart: the dream of becoming an author. Driven by a desire to address social issues, explore the complexities of relationships, and delve into matters of morality, I used my creative side to write captivating fictional stories.

In my debut novel, "Beauty and the Lighthouse," I fearlessly step into the world of storytelling, weaving together engaging narratives that touch the hearts of readers. Through my writing, I seek to spark conversations, provoke thought, and inspire change.

Beyond my literary pursuits, I remain an ardent advocate for social causes close to my heart. Thats why I have a nonprofit called SOY (Save Our Youth); which was created to address the problems affecting at risk kids. All proceeds will be used to fund the SOY program. I believe in using my platform to raise awareness and promote positive change in the community.

With an unwavering spirit and a compassionate heart, I will continue to follow my dreams, embracing new opportunities, and leaving a positive impact on everyone I encounter. Through my words and actions, I strive to make the world a better place, one story at a time.
